Founded in 2014 by Tacoma native Tomy Foster, NERD Towing (New Era Recovery Division) is a family-run and minority-owned business dedicated to providing reliable and professional towing and recovery services. With a strong foundation in the community, Tomy and his wife Liz have built NERD Towing with a commitment to excellence and personalized care for each customer.
Tomy brings extensive expertise to the business, having attended Bates Technical College for Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Machinery Operation. His passion for the industry led him to become the District 1 Co-Chair of the Towing Recovery Association of Washington. Tomy has trained in both Light and Medium Duty Recovery through the association’s accredited courses.
NERD Towing is an authorized and accredited carrier with the US Department of Transportation (USDOT); our USDOT carrier number is 3443832.
